Students excel outside the classroom at concept schools’ science and engineering fair Around 500 students from seven Midwest states showcased their impressive, independently created projects at Concept Schools’ 9th Annual Science and Engineering Fair on March 3, 2012 at Cleveland State University. The awards ceremony began with the Horizon Science Academy Cleveland High School Color Guard and Drill Team presentation followed by the band playing the National Anthem. CONSEF was pleased to welcome Ohio State Representative Bill Patmon as the keynote speaker. Representative Patmon, an influential member of the House Education Committee, inspired students, parents and community members, passed out student medals and took photos with students.
